This is what a dual camera car cam is supposed to be like

This dual camera car cam replaces one I purchased from another manufacturer. That one had one front facing camera and one rear facing camera in the same housing. This one is designed properly -- one camera looks out the front of the car and one looks out the rear of the car. True, you're missing video from the sides of the car, but if you get in an accident, you really want to know who is hitting you from behind. This camera set records that information.

Nice clear screen. Large for a dashcam, but not large enough to obstruct the view out of your windshield.

The manual is nice too. I like the diagrams showing suggested installation.

This is a great camera setup as-is, but there are a few quirks the manufacturer should address in the next version:
1) The included microSD card is not an "endurance" rated card for continuous use and many rewrites. Interestingly, the manufacturer suggests, "to keep your SD card in good condition, please format it regularly." This seems like a big hassle. I'd rather get an endurance card made for this purpose.
2) The connector is the (very old) mini USB connector. Not even micro USB. Why not make new devices USB-C?

Other than those two issues, I'd recommend this car camera.
